Description
A native New Yorker, the Empire is appropriately named as it was developed at Cornell University back in 1966. A combination of Red Delicious and McIntosh, it’s a sweet and tart variety that can be enjoyed in many ways! Bonus: Empire is slow to brown, so you can cut ahead of time.
